Miss January 2007

Reilly is a lurcher- a sighthound crossed with anything else- we think she is greyhound x german shepherd, and probably other stuff too, but it is helpful to think of her as large, dark brindle, lean, strong and serious. She never loses her cool composure- she can disarm goofy leaping juvenile dogs with a glare, never jumps on people or licks them, and always stands, never sits. Rei and I enjoy a strong connection off leash, we walk together as if we are each doing our part of a job, she sniffing there, me looking here, frequently checking back to see what each other has found. She is the best at finding hidden things, and hunting rodents and rabbits. Reilly was Miss January in the Savers Bank 2007 Pet Calendar.
